À la veille de mes 51 ans,
Voici la première infolettre associée à mon site ARTJB8.
Que s’est-il passé ces derniers mois ?
Après être rentrée d’Europe ou j’ai passé deux mois avec mes enfants à vadrouiller de musées en galeries, d’expositions et festivals, mon inspiration est à son comble.
Le 17 Octobre s’est ouverte l’exposition Bingo dans la bibliothèque universitaire de Coffs Harbour. La communauté aborigène locale a soutenu encore une fois très chaleureusement mon exposition, rien que pour cette raison, je peux considérer cette exposition comme un succès.
Mais pourquoi Bingo ? un peu étrange pour comme nom d’exposition, non ?
Bingo, c’est un peu comme Eureka, c’est le mot qui m’est venu à l’esprit lors de mes pérégrinations artistiques récentes, diverses, intenses et aussi quand j’ai finalement réalisé cette année qu’après 50 ans de bons et loyaux services au nom desquels j’ai de toutes mes forces cédé à la peur panique de me proclamer artiste, voici qu’enfin, sans la moindre hésitation et de façon humble et assumée, je me permets de répondre à cette appellation qui implique une liberté prise et assumée.
Bingo est donc un tournant décisif dans ma vie.
Le mot me convient car il implique une certaine part de chance et la connection de différentes informations et influences qui finalement permettent d’arriver à la compréhension d’une évidence que j’ai pourtant soigneusement évitée.
Puisque je suis chanceuse et que mes œuvres touchent les cœurs et les âmes, les ventes ont encore une fois été au rendez-vous, je peux donc me projeter dans l’avenir : investir dans un véhicule qui me permet de transporter mes larges toiles.
Ce qui va me permettre d’aller exposer dans des salons d’art contemporains dans des villes telles que Sydney où Brisbane, qui sont respectivement à 7 et 6 heures de route de mon studio.
Aller me frotter à un public de collectionneurs d’art, à des connaisseurs, à des amateurs de couleurs et de matières, voir qui va investir en moi, me stimule pour les mois à venir.
Je ne manquerais pas de partager cette aventure dans l’une des prochaines infolettres mensuelles.

On the eve of my 51st birthday,
Here is the first newsletter associated with my ARTJB8 website.
What has happened in recent months?
After returning from Europe where I spent two months with my children wandering from museums to galleries, exhibitions and festivals, my inspiration is at its peak.
On October 17th, the Bingo exhibition opened in the Coffs Harbour University Library. The local Aboriginal community once again very warmly supported my exhibition, for this reason alone, I can consider this exhibition a success.
But why Bingo? A bit strange for an exhibition name, no?
Bingo is a bit like Eureka, it is the word that came to my mind during my recent artistic wanderings, diverse, intense and also when I finally realized this year that after 50 years of good and loyal service in the name of which I have with all my strength given in to the panic fear of proclaiming myself an artist, here finally, without the slightest hesitation and in a humble and assumed way, I allow myself to respond to this appellation which implies a freedom taken and assumed.
Bingo is therefore a decisive turning point in my life.
The word suits me because it implies a certain part of luck and the connection of different information and influences which finally allow to arrive at the understanding of an obviousness that I have nevertheless carefully avoided. Since I am lucky and my works touch hearts and souls, sales have once again been there, so I can look to the future: investing in a vehicle that allows me to transport my large canvases.
Which will allow me to exhibit in contemporary art fairs in cities such as Sydney or Brisbane, which are respectively 7 and 6 hours away from my studio.
Rubbing shoulders with an audience of art collectors, connoisseurs, lovers of colors and materials, seeing who will invest in me, stimulates me for the months to come.
I will not fail to share this adventure in one of the next monthly newsletters.
